Ok, here's my idea. It's a little premature as far as the date goes, but close enough . I hereby declare that an unofficial 10 year Qvale anniversary event will take place at this location on this date.

Woodley Park, in Van Nuys California
Sunday, November 1, 2009 - 9am to 4pm

Anyone who is interested in attending, please post your name on the list. If some people & their Qvales actually plan to come, then I will start to arrange some special activities. Otherwise, if nobody is interested, it will just be another great car show with only 1 Qvale being displayed .

While I agree that logistics of a gathering of current Qvale owners would be daunting, perhaps the anniversary can be celebrated in other ways. Maybe we could prevail om BMC to design a commemorate item, say a key fob or a baseball cap, that could be distributed to current owners? I know I am proud of my Mangusta, and would love to have an excuse to start conversations about it with the uninitiated! G.

Good idea.......better than doing nothing! T-shirt and cap would be fine.....

I might be able to come with some goodies for everyone, if we do not have a formal get-together/meeting...

Anyway, I hope that some other cars make it out to this show, so we can do something fun. I called Sherman a while ago, & he said he might come .

Well, even though nobody added their name to the list, we still managed to have a major Qvale presence at the show today. I was joined by Sherman & Alex, which made for a record breaking 3 Qvales in one place at the same time ! On top of that we also had all (both) variants with Alex's automatic covering that version.

Unfortunately we couldn't park next to each other, but we were all in the same row. I didn't have my camera, so no pics from me . There were lots of other great cars out as well, & the weather was nice & warm, so it was a terrific day.

The model posing with my car is Leianna Kai, she's moving up as an automotive type model from the LA area doing HIN type events, etc. If you want to book her, let me know, she has very reasonable rates.

As an owner, I would definitely support an "Qvale 10 Year Anniversary" event. I'm in San Diego and would travel anywhere in California.

i think it should be held in Providence, RI since it has the densest concentration of mangusta in the world!
